  PHYSIOTHERAPY
   
  Our unit offering a comprehensive and quality treatment for patients with illnesses
or disabilities to regain and improve physical function and enhance quality of life.
We provide active rehabilitation not only to improve loast functions and pain
management, but also help in educating our patients and their families.
   
The wide range of conditions that would benefit from physiotherapy include :
   
 
  • Musculoskeletal problems (eg. back, neck, knee & shoulder problems)
  • Orthopaedics & Trauma problems (eg. pain, stiffness, muscle wasting & weakness following
         fracture or injury)
  • Degenerative Joint Diseases (eg. osteoarthritis of knee or hip)
  • Sports injuries (eg. tear ligaments like ACL, meniscus injury of knee, rotator cuff injury of shoulder
         and sprains of ankle, wrist, shoulder and back)
  • Pre & Post-operative Rehabilitation (eg. Post ACL reconstruction of knee, total knee replacement
         or after open reduction and internal fixation of fracture limb)
  • Spinal cord injury rehabilitation
  • Respiratory conditions (eg. asthma, pneumonia & bronchitis)
  • Strokes and other neurological conditions (eg. head injuries or Parkinson's Disease)
  • Geriatric problems (eg. ambulation or mobility problems)
  • Paediatric problems (eg. chest infection, club foot and torticollis)

    How to be referred to our unit?
       
      A patient can be referred for physiotherapy services by the following means :
     
  • Through the Specialists, General Practitioners (GPs), other hospital & other healthcare organizations.
  • By contacting the physiotherapy unit themselves or walk-in.

  • Tuesday and Thursday (extended night clinic) (9.00 am to 8.00 pm)
  • Saturday (9.00 am to 1.00 pm)

    Cancellations / Change of Appointment
       
      If you are unable to keep on appointment, please inform us as soon as possible so that we can reschedule the time for another patient and arrange a new appointment for you.
