Accident & Emergency Services
We have full Accident & Emergency (A&E) services at LSC. The department is open 24 hours a day. All our specialist are available 24 hours a day and on call.

Ambulance Services
Available for patients to and from the Centre.

On Arrival / Admission
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our Customer Service Officer / Receptionist who will guide you through the registration and advice / direct you to the specialist you wish to consult. In the case of admission, except for emergency cases, planned admissions are are arranged after consultation with our specialists. Deposit may be required.

What to bring with you
We suggest that you bring your own clothes, slippers and toiletries. There is a locker and a small wardrobe beside your bed. Personal laundry service is not available in this hospital, please make suitable arrangement with relatives or friends. If you are on any medications, at the time you come to the hospital, including tablets, inhalers, eye drops, creams / lotions, please bring them with you. These items should be in their original containers, and should be handed to a member of the nursing staff on your admission.

Valuables and Cash
For security reasons, patients are advised not to keep any valuables (e.g. money, jewellery, handphone & computer) with them in the hospital to avoid any loss or theft. LSC accepts no responsibility for patients' possessions while they are in the hospital.

Admission Kit
Admission kit (chargeable) will be issued upon admission in the ward. The kit consists of a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, a comb, a bottle of shower gel, a bottle of shampoo, a plastic cup, a bath towel and a face flannel.

Lodger
Lodger is allowed in all rooms (except for adult general room). First lodger is free (depending on the room type selected) & extra lodger will be charged accordingly. Only female lodgers are allowed in the Female and Paediatric wards (except for single room). Meals for lodgers are not included. Folding bed/deck chair will be provided at night only. Kindly make prior arrangements with the Sister/Staff Nurse in charge.

Calling a Nurse
For patient's convenient and emergency, you may use the nurse call-bell. The call-bell service is free of charge.

Food Service (Halal)
LSC offers a variety of meal choices to meet different medical needs and patient's preference.
Menu choices may be limited if you are prescribed with a special diet (therapeutic diet). Our ward staff will assist you with your menu selections and ensure that your needs are attended to. Please check with the nurses before consuming your own brought in food, to ensure that it does not interfere with your treatment plan. All diet therapy queries may be referred to our Dietitian or Dietetic Technician. A dietetic consultation can be arranged to discuss any concern you may have regarding your current nutritional status / requirement.
LSC is a "HALAL" certified hospital; as such "NON-HALAL" or externally prepared food is not encouraged. Please take note that cooking equipment e.g. open flame burners, gas appliances, etc are not allowed in the hospital premises.

Discharge Procedures
Patient are advised to check out before 12.00 PM on the day of discharge. A half-day charge will be levied for those who wish to leave the hospital after 12.00 PM and before 5.00 PM. Any discharges after 5.00 PM will be charged for a full day fee. Any follow up appointment will be made by our ward receptionist. Payment can be made at the Finance Dept. / In-patient Cashier and take home medication (if any) can be collected at In-patient Pharmacy Counter.

Other Services
- Select-TV is available for all rooms at Block 3 for patient's use at a chargeable rate. Programme available includes movies, songs, games and food order.
- Free internet access is available in our hospital.
- Telephone service at a chargeable rate is available for all single rooms at Block 2 & all rooms at Block 3.

Visiting Hours
12.00 PM to 2.00 PM
5.00 PM to 10.00 PM

Visitors are welcome as visiting time is an important part of the patient's stay. However, the welfare of the patient must always be taken into consideration and certain restrictions may be imposed from time to time.

- Only 2 visitors are permitted to visit at any one time.
- Visitors are also requested not to bring alcohol to patients and smoking is not allowed in the hospital premises.
